Job Overview:

We’re looking for a motivated Corporate IT Assistant to provide hands-on support for our team in Austin. This role is perfect for someone currently pursuing or recently completing an IT degree/certificate—or anyone with equivalent hands-on experience who’s excited to grow their skills in a professional environment.  This is a part-time, on-site position (10–20 hours per week) with flexibility to work around class schedules.

Responsibilities:
  • New-hire onboarding support: walk users through first-day sign-in, MFA, and basic tools (Outlook, Slack, Teams).
  • Device setup and re-provisioning: assist with ABM/Intune enrollment, pushing approved apps via Company Portal, and validating that devices meet compliance standards.
  • Basic troubleshooting: Wi-Fi connectivity, printer setup, display/meeting room A/V (Teams), and common macOS/Windows user issues.
  • Ticket triage: monitor and update Jira tickets; document fixes and how-tos in Confluence.

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/certificate in IT, or related field—or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • Friendly, clear communicator who likes helping people and can explain technical steps in plain language.
  • Organized and reliable; follows checklists/runbooks and updates tickets/docs diligently.
  • Comfortable with both macOS and Windows basics.
  • Able to lift/move computer equipment (up to ~30 lbs) and support occasional early-morning setups.
Preferred Requirements
  • Experience with Intune & Apple Business Manager
  • Familiarity with PowerShell, Power Automate, or other automation concepts.
