Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of diverse software engineers, providing technical guidance, support, and career development.
- Drive the development of high-quality, responsive web applications that deliver seamless, intuitive user experiences.
- Act as a hands-on technical leader with deep expertise in React, TypeScript, GraphQL, and modern web tooling.
- Help architect scalable solutions designed to handle millions of daily requests.
- Leverage tools such as Storybook, Sentry, and Chromatic to ensure UI consistency, robust error monitoring, and reliable visual regression testing.
- Champion a design-first, data-driven approach by collaborating closely with Product and Design teams.
- Establish and enforce standards for front-end architecture, performance optimization, testing, and accessibility.
- Help oversee CI/CD pipelines and observability tools to maintain reliable, high-performing applications.
- Lead modernization efforts and the migration from legacy systems to cutting-edge web technologies.
- Stay current with emerging trends in web development and scalable architectures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8+ years of professional software development experience with a proven track record in building and scaling web applications.
- 2+ years in technical leadership or lead engineering roles.
- Demonstrated passion for creating user-centric web applications.
- Proven expertise in architecting large-scale, React-based systems capable of handling millions of daily requests.
- Extensive hands-on experience with React, TypeScript, GraphQL, modern CSS frameworks, and reusable component libraries.
- Familiarity with Storybook, Sentry, and Chromatic tools is a plus.
- Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, accessibility, performance, and responsive atomic design.
- Experience with SEO, usability testing, A/B testing, and user behavior analytics.
- Proficiency with CI/CD systems and observability tools for comprehensive application monitoring.
- Ability to align engineering initiatives with product, UX, and business objectives.
